Since 2006, many our youth participants have sustained adaptive coping behaviors relative to art and creative influence. Participant outcomes have resulted favorably with both visual and auditory engagement. Research proves that exposure to traumatic events can threaten mental health long-term. There’s evidence that untreated trauma is harmful to the physical body and can impact human DNA. Our holistic focus is to target youth and their primary support system with trauma-focused mentorship and coping skills enrichment. We combine the benefits of art with trauma-focused expertise and skilled mentorship. This therapeutic approach lowers symptoms and other risks that could lead to adult mental and physical impairment.
